Things I Have Been Working On

I am officially all caught up with orders! What a wonderful feeling it is to actually say that! I have had quite a bit of orders this month and just finished and mailed out my last one today.
The hungry caterpillar hat was made for a sweet little girl who is turning one next week.

At the last minute her mom requested I stitch her name Elea Heart somewhere on the hat with her age 1. I decided to stitch her name onto the caterpillar's body and the last segment near the caterpillar's head, I stitched a heart to represent her name and a number one to represent the age she is turning. I think it turned out very cute!

St. Patrick's Day was earlier on this week, and I had quite a few bearded leprechaun hat orders.

What I love the most, is the customer pictures I received of the cuties who wore these hats on St. Patrick's Day! <3

For Etsy orders, I recreated another cute Dave the minion backpack.

And today I finished and mailed out this fun and colorful Rainbow Fish hat. It is a gift for a young man who loves fish.

It's Cookie Time

My daughter Zella and her Daisy Girl Scout Troop have been very busy selling girl scout cookies to help raise money for their troop. We worked at the cookie booth at our local grocery store and the girls really "ROCKED" it. They sold over 200 boxes within an hour and a half.

Since it is Zella's first year as a girl scout, she set a reasonable personal goal for herself of 225 boxes. So far she has sold 184 boxes and that isn't counting her sales from cookie booths so I think it is very possible she may reach her goal.

If her troop averages 225 boxes per girl in sales, they will get to see 5th Harmony in concert!! How exciting!

Father Daughter Dance

A little over a week ago, my husband took our daughters to their Father Daughter Dance. Xiera wore a pretty teal and white spring dress with matching teal shoes and Zella wore a sweet black, silver, and white flowing ruffle dress with flowers around the bodice with black tights and silver dress shoes. (Silver and white are her favorite colors.)

They were so excited to wear their corsages that matched their dresses.
They had a wonderful dinner date with dad and then loads of fun dancing with their dad and friends.

Someone Had a Birthday

The weekend before last Zella celebrated her 7th birthday. Her real birthday was on February 21st, so we had close family come over that evening to celebrate.

Zella loved spending her birthday evening with her grandparents and great-grandparents.

The Sunday that followed, Zella celebrated once again, but this time with all of her cousins and best friends from school at the roller skating rink.

She is a HUGE fan of all things unicorns and rainbows lately so we made that the theme. ;)

She had a wonderful 7th birthday surrounded by lots of love, laughter, and unicorns.
